Great work Preston.
I think, for Petrino to consistently reach elite level of play, he has to humble himself enough to bring in a big name (or rising star) as a DC and truly turn him loose. Give him free rein on building a staff and recruiting the talent that suits his style of defense. Then allow him to shine on his own merits, maybe even (gasp) publicly praise him once in a while.
Maybe, with TJ gone, Bobby will realize he’s on his own, and he’s not getting an automatic pass into retirement.

Very old....lack of discipline and overall development of the players....just look at the Line or Scrimmage when UofL plays the btr P5 Teams...it is glaring...and I can argue very easily that Charlie Strong teams in the old BIG EAST had more overall pure talent across the board
Plus, he's playoff bound with fellow teammates and former Cards, Eric Wood and John Miller. Other Cards making the playoffs: Harry Doulas (Titans,) Jamon Brown (LAR,) Colin Holba (JAX,) and Sheldon Rankins (NOS.)
