The Future Pro Football Hall of Famer might be headed to coach the DB in Lexington...

At Kentucky, it might mean hiring Ed Reed.

In 2016, Wildcats coach Mark Stoops reportedly reached out to the Ravens legend, whom he coached at Miami, about joining the program’s staff as a defensive backs coach. But Reed had been hired the month before as the Buffalo Bills’ assistant defensive backs coach, and he declined the offer.

Now, with another job set to open up in Lexington and Reed no longer in Buffalo, Stoops is giving it the old college try again. Reed was on hand for Kentucky’s Dec. 16 men’s basketball game against Virginia Tech, and asked last week about his interest in hiring Reed, Stoops told Kentucky Sports Radio that he was “working on it.”

Who gives a shit. Still got the Pillsbury Dough Boy managing the clock and playing defense with 10 or less! It doesn’t matter. The head man is horrible!!!

Stoops has stated more than once it would be the longest of shots. Reeds last stint at coaching in the pros soured him on the job.

So happy Northwestern won the game today. Thanks for stepping up Pat Fitzgerald. TIL THE BITTER END "F" UK IN ANY AND ALL SPORTS!

Whatever happens here, I don't think it matters.

That window opening UK had to potentially make some noise in the SEC East has pretty much slammed shut.

Kirby obviously has UGA at the highest level. FLA and TN have made the coaching changes required, and they were still ahead of UK in the standings with their lame duck coaches. S. Carolina is also trending up.

UK appears to be holding hands with Vandy as they typically are.

I used to feel sorry for their players, but lately they've just had too many guys behave poorly for me to even feel a little bad for them too.
