Sorry I can't post the entire video here which is premium content elsewhere. But here's a snapshot of a locker room interview with Montrezl just after the game yesterday. In the interview and as you see in his face, he was downcast and frustrated by the team's performance.
But the interesting and funny part for me was watching Onuaku in the background intently eating his cheese potato wedges pretty much oblivious to his surroundings. The hilarious part at one point was watching him drip a little melted cheese on his stomach, set aside his postgame "delicacy", wipe the cheese off with his finger, and eat it...
I almost expected Montrezl at one point to gesture over his shoulder and quip to the media "see, this is what I'm dealing with".
As you guys know, I don't get as torqued up about wins and losses as some of you. But evidently, neither does Onuaku. Nor probably a few others on this team. While it gnaws at the gut of a guy like Montrezl, it's simply cheese on the gut of the younger guys.
I'm not pointing the finger at anyone. Some are still teenagers. And as seriously as we take it, a priority for many of them is more cheese for their wedges...
