I know some posters have said that Spalding or Mahmoud could play up in the middle of a zone because they can hit an elbow jumper, but Nanu has been showing he can hit it as well lately. I really want to see what Pitino does against the Syracuse zone this season. It appears he has a multitude of options for a zone buster if he wants to play it that way.

Onuaku has improved his game in almost every facet. The post moves are terrific but being able to hit the elbow/foul line jumper adds a whole new dimension to his game and has the potential to open things up for everyone else as well because the defense has to go out to cover him.

This is so true and his elbow jumper is beautiful it seems to go in every time he shoots it.

Best all around player on the team. His ability to pass is really something.

I noticed last night on his offensive rebounds he was looking for 3 pt shooters.

Damn I think he may go pro at the end of the year. Will wish him the best if he does. If he stays one more year he could be 1st Team AA next year.

His underhand free throw has been on point these last couple of games but if his percentage dips again he should probably just start taking jumpers when he is shooting FTs. :p

I agree, he's become the X-factor in beating the Zone. Defenses have to respect him on the post by collapsing, leaving Nanu with the kick out.
