The played a good game tonight against a super agressive team. Early in the year this would have been a mismatch. Last night they held their own. This is a very young group and will only get better. They have the ability to be dominate in the next couple years. It will start looking like a normal Petrino offense.

Great job by the coaches nurturing this group along. The staff did a tremendous job keeping this team together along with the seniors.

That's why earning a bowl bid is so important. It's the extra practice time the kids normally would not get. It helps the team so much. Not only did we see improvement in the line, but Jackson under center was a nice wrinkle I know Texas A&M wasn't prepared at all for. None of us were. With most everyone back, this team should be ranked in the top 10 to start the new season next year. Run the table and they're in the playoffs playing for a national championship.

I agree with the OP. Plus we were without Skylar Lacy for some unknown reason.

I will hate myself for saying this, but here goes - the "loss" of Hughley automatically improves our O Line. I have never had a football player for Louisville disturb me as much as this kid. Last night, sure as shooting, we witnessed yet another "Hughley Moment" as the refs blamed all 11 players for being offsides, lol.

For Heavens Sake, please, Bobby, find yourself a center who won't snap the ball off his own large butt or cause penalties the likes of which most of us have never - ever - seen before..

The thing that bothered me about Hughley was that it seemed all his snaps were low. It might not seem that important but the quarterback loses about a 1 1/2 seconds when that happens.
