Purdue currently has Ron English and Mark Hagen as Co-DC's. We've been there, done that with English. I also see Garrick McGee is on Purdue's staff as WR coach. He's a former UofL assistant, too. This might sound strange to say since Brohm is coming home, but I hope he hires some new blood.

I'm all for being optimistic, but if Jim Leonhard had the option of being a HC at a P5 school, the Packers DC, or Louisville DC, it's literally be one of the most shocking hires ever if he went to UofL

We could do a lot worse than Bryant Haines, James Madison’s Defensive Coordinator (as thecycle27 mentioned above) or Lance Guidry DC from Marshall.

Both can flat out coach defense.
