I know its a 99.9% foregone conclusionthat he's gone, but would we welcome him back for his senior year?

Honestly he seems like a cancer, good player but doesn’t seem to be getting along with teammates judging by their interactions of the court

He’ll never play in the NBA. He just doesn’t have it. Good college player, but he’s a catch & shoot guy. Nothing more. He should stay in school but probably won’t. Hell, if he struggles to get along with Mack I could see him grad transferring. He should talk to Griff and work his butt off this summer on his ball skills.

His dad is a coach, but an AAU coach. Therefore, no fundamental background.

How about running some plays to get him open like most teams do for their best player.

Of course we would, he’s a great player who’s in a slump and obviously he gets down on himself. I think Mack’s toying with his playing time is having a negative effect mentally. He’ll come back strong and people will be back to singing his praises.

This is a team with a lot of good players, but no set top 5 players.

Jordan isn’t a star player. He’s a great scorer, but a star player does multiple things. He doesn’t really distribute well and can turn it over. He’s not a great defender. He’s not a freak athlete that can blow you away with his jump or quickness. He can’t really create off the dribble as he doesn’t have great handles. He’s not an emotional leader.

He’s a long player that has an amazing ability to shoot and find ways to score. He’s so good at scoring it puts him in the elite levels in the country. But, if he’s not scoring then what else does he do? And if he’s not scoring and pouting, he’s not creating anything and hurting us on defense.

Because if you take out his scoring, this team becomes average because we don’t really do anything great, some things good.

Crazy bad week. I am not sure what happened but they have stop playing team basketball this week.

There are no NBA players on this team besides maybe Johnson. They have to play together or they have no shot

This has become David Johnson’s team and Nwora knows it. Late in the game today Nwora brought the ball over the time line and tossed it to DJ like, “here...guess you’re the man now”. I don’t think Nwora likes being overshadowed by the freshman. That said, usual when there is a change in the hierarchy the citizens are split. Some support the old regime and some support the new. I know nothing of what is going on but I’m guessing my argument is close to correct. The cohesion is gone. When DJ gets the ball he rarely looks Jordan’s way. The fact is DJ can get to the rim whenever he wants to and will usually score or get fouled. Jordan seems to have no answer in his game for this. He is pretty much catch and shoot or clean up a rebound. Jordan has never been able to just go get his shot because he doesn’t have the handle needed to do so. I soooooo hope I’m wrong but I expect things to not get better because of the new team dynamic. Who would have thought that adding a great guard (our weakest position) to the rotation would so upset the Apple cart. I just don’t know that this is fixable unless DJ and Nwora find a way to sort this out.

I understand the frustration but the guy clearly liked this place last year enough to return this year. I realize he didn't get to work out @ the combine and he probably thought he was making a good business decision returning, because he was more than likely NOT getting drafted in the 1st Round last year...but he could have chosen the path many others have chosen to take, the G league or overseas or even a transfer.

If he's not having the season fans hoped, I'd imagine he's not having the season he hoped for either. We're still talking about young people here, and they aren't always going to react the best way to some turbulence. Especially since they've more than likely never really been exposed to basketball issues prior to this level, certainly not to the magnitude he's seeing now.

So he's clearly not handling things well right now. Maybe he won't figure it out. Maybe he mails it in, the team's season ends early. Maybe things get worse, they can. There's still time left in the season, hoping he turns it around. After what he's gone through, if he actually DID turn it around, look out. I know, real big if.

The decision to go or come back is always a tough call especially if you are borderline. Even if he was healthy I really wonder what he would of shown going up against elite athletes. I think he would have been exposed just like has been this year. Since we don’t know if he would even been drafted last year it’s hard to say the decision was good or bad. The obvious danger in coming back is you better get better or you will be exposed. He is basically the same player as last year but teams figured out how to stop him.

A scout gave a great description on him...he is heavy in the feet. He is exactly right there is nothing explosive about his game. Everything about his game is average except his shooting which is elite. He is extremely easy to take out of the game offensively. He gives you very inconsistent effort of defense.

He will go next year but I bet he goes late 2nd or even undrafted. He will make good money overseas.

I think it is safe to say he understands his draft stock is tanking which is impacting his play. Really tough to see your dream become a nightmare. I get it and hate it for him.

How do we know that Mack wasn’t aware of this and the real reason DJ was getting limited time. Now the fans and media clamor for DJ to start and Nwora reacts as if DJ is taking over the team. Learn to coexist.

I'd like for them to coexist, or rather nwora learn to coexist, but im almost to the point where I dont care if he learns it or not, just take him out of the game, he has been PATHETIC here recently on defense, not to mention his offense. His defense normally is just below average and sometimes does enough to trick u into thinking he's a capable defender. I can't stand seeing somebody put in the weak effort he's been putting in. It's the one thing u can control. Idk why mack doesn't take him out.....
