Whoever our next coach is should focus their initial recruiting on Nwora. He’s got plenty of room for improvement in various areas, but I really want him to stay. Hope he does.

I like the kid too. Sure would have liked seeing him on the court more this year. IF he stays, he should get a ton of playing time next year. Adel isn't going to stay. Spalding isn't going to stay either IMO, and we already lose Mahmoud, and Snider plus we have nobody signed and one transfer coming in. He'll have ample opportunity to play if he sticks it out.
Hope you're wrong about Ray. He's not ready. I don't care how much he's improved he needs more physical strength. He also needs to work on his hands, which can be tough to improve. I just can't believe he's ready yet.
Adel? While he's not ready, he will probably leave - but he's headed overseas. That guy NEVER draws an NBA paycheck. His lack of ball skills is a killer.

If Mack is the coach, I think he’ll do wonders with King and Nwora. Both will play their true positions. King is so out of place at the 2. He is not a 2 unless Mack can turn him into one, which no one else could, so I wouldnt.
Btw, Ray and Adel are both 100% gone unless somethin miraculous happens that changes their minds.

I hope I am wrong about Ray and Adel too. If both stay, the Cards are going to have a pretty solid team. The transfer coming in is Enoch from UConn and he will be a stronger player than Anas is/was/or ever will be.
I thought I read where both Spalding and Adel have dropped low in draft projections. Is everyone expecting both of them to play overseas? If Earl Clarke who is big and strong struggled in the NBA I expect Ray to have the same problems maybe worse.
Ray has more upside than Earl down low but will struggle against true centers in the NBA. Earl had a better outside shot than Ray does but Earl struggled as a stretch 4
I would like for that to be the case. Ray would benefit a lot from gaining more strength, improved handles, and honing a jumper. I hope he stays but you never know nowadays.
Would love to have Nwora stay as well. He definitely has skills and potential. I like his outside shooting, driving ability, and seems to rebound pretty well. Hope he sticks around too.
How they were or were not used could factor into their decision.
I believe the main issue is they signed up for Pitino, not whoever else it's going to be.
If they leave I'll root them on, their time here will only make them stronger mentally in the future.
What other team has 2 NBA players that is going to miss the NCAA tournament? Really think about that fact. The 2012 and 2013 teams had 2 NBA players total.
