Word is Nwora is injured, although the extent of his injury is unknown. For now though it is keeping him out of drills, especially 5 on 5’s. If he can’t perform at the combine, can’t see his draft stock getting any higher.
It means either a promise or a return. Many injuries are made to keep players out of competition.I heard it was a minor calf injury. That could mess up measurables at the combine.
I think they are taking too much into what his parents said about only staying in the draft if he’s a 1st rounder. Some scouts have speculated that if he doesn’t participate in any more of the drills, he would be rated somewhere around #60 meaning one of the last players drafted. We will see how this plays out.I don't understand how sitting out the 5-on-5 voluntarily is a positive sign that Nwora will return.
Assuming he would get a combine invite if he waited another year to go pro, how is NOT showing your deficiencies this year better than not showing them next year? It would seem to me you're better off rolling those dice this year than next year...
Quoted for truth. The injury is made up or it's not, he'll either come back or he won't. None of us know shit, just wish him the best and hope for the best for all involved.
Only if what’s best for Nwora = what’s best for U of L.Quoted for truth.
Nope. I sincerely wish him the best regardless what he decides to do. I was quoting Morgantowncard for telling it like it is. We don't know what he's going to do which is true.Only if what’s best for Nwora = what’s best for U of L.
Good, good for you but in reality unless you’re a family member or close friend, he’s just a young man who played basketball for U of L. Do we really know him! I wish him the best of luck if he goes but i won’t follow him on Twitter or anything. What I will care about is if he decides to come back and be a Cardinal.Nope. I sincerely wish him the best regardless what he decides to do. I was quoting Morgantowncard for telling it like it is. We don't know what he's going to do which is true.
