Football Attendance
In some respects, the football program NEXT year will be where the basketball program is THIS year. Last year, we struggled thru a basketball season with an interim coach and a promise of better things this year. Attendance was down last year in an arena with plenty of unneeded capacity, but we hired a new basketball coach.
Football struggled this past season under what turned out to be a lame duck coach. Actual attendance was pretty awful in an expanded stadium--as Eric Crawford discusses--but here comes Scott Satterfield!
As Crawford points out, however, attendance hasn't bounced back in basketball after a year of purgatory. It's down 17% THIS year after last year's decline. (Odd that other people besides me pay attention to that stuff.)
So why is "Vince" so optimistic about next football season?...
