First time poster here, just wanted to drop in and say hello. So, I will preface with the fact that I'm from North Carolina and am a lifelong Duke fan. However, I recently decided to get another degree and will be attending the University of Louisville, so am super excited to join the Cardinal family. I've always had great respect for your program and I'm just glad that I can take my hatred for UK to a whole new level! Go Cards!

Yeah I’d say we can be a bit dysfunctional. We have some Christmas Vacation style meltdowns once in a while, but all in all, everyone that has decided to stick with it for the long haul enjoys it here for one reason or another. And if you post enough, you’ll make Sonja’s yearly Poem!

Yessir, my year of birth. A memorable year for both Duke and Louisville. Maybe this was always meant to be lol. At least now I'll have a team in the Coastal and the Atlantic divisions in football!

Sorry for not getting back to you, I'm currently overseas in Turkey right now, so the time difference is 7 hours from east coast time. Obviously, I was born in 86 so don't remember actually watching that season, but I am huge into basketball history. I do know Milt, but when I think of the 86 Duke/Louisville game, I think of "Never Nervous Pervis". The best guard in that game was in fact Mr. Dawkins. I'm not taking anything away from Milt of course, who was great as well.

You will find most of us have a deep respect for Duke and Coach K. The only time we have a problem with either is listening to Vitale go on and on and on......
Jay Bilas is also a Dookie I have come to respect.
We can get a bit testy at times, especially so given the state of the university's current administration and coaching search.
