New Coach means to new staff/players

It makes me wonder who will stay on the current staff and player roster, and even including the new recruits.

Since they made the hire so late in the season I doubt he will get rid of many players. I also doubt there will be many players he can bring in except for the transfer portal. I don’t think it will be keeping any of the coaches on this be current staff. He will more than likely surround himself with people he knows and trust.

Yeah I can't imagine Payne wanting to keep any of the current coaches. I'm sure he has his own assistant coaches in mind, and that is probably for the best- to start with a clean slate.

The interesting thing about the transfer portal is 22 kids can transfer with no penalty. Schools are going to let them out of the LOI. We are already seeing it. Now I doubt Louisville gets much traction with 22 kids because of the IRP. Transfers are going to be tough as well.

He can’t keep any of the current coaches. It will be a new staff.
