Just curious about how the university goes about finding a replacement. What makes a great AD and who do we go after? TJ is all I've known having only graduated a few years ago. So now that the shellshock has somewhat subsided I'm dying to hear some thoughts and speculation on where we go from here.

It feels crazy but is Bobby V just a ridiculous suggestion? Strong name recognition and if you heard his segment today theres clearly a passion for UofL. I just have no clue.

Bobby V has a passion for stuffed crust pizza but, I wouldn’t put him in charge of a Pizza Hut either.

He doesn't love it nearly as much as Denny loves Wendy's chilli; however, I'm fishing for some sort of input as to what makes a good candidate and if there's anyone decent out there now we would have a shot at getting.

How about a proven business leader . . . . one who is self-made . . . . and one who loves the University . . . . and one who was way out front in confronting some of the demons that have haunted U of L?

(Here's a hint, my Card friends . . . . part of his nickname is Papa . . . .).

Not saying he'd do the job, but it would be a killer hire, with instant national credibility, given his apparent split with darker forces that controlled the syndicate that U of L had become the last two decades.

I know - just kidding. I bet it’s Kenny Klein (on an interim basis) or Junior Bridgeman.

You’re a sad person.

Sad.

How about a proven d-bag. . . . one who is a self-made bag . . . . and one who loves himself. . . . and one who was way out front in figuring out how to profit by making sickeningly sweet kids pizza and while treating his employees like crap.

(Here's a hint, my Card enemies . . . . part of his nickname is Bag... .).

Not saying he could actually do the job, but it would be a killer hire if you want the self promoting Bag's picture plastered even more around town, with unwanted national attention, given his apparent split with the people that pierced his paper thin skin.

Good call Gomer

He has a national name, is on national TV for sports, constantly, is self-made, and has his company name on the stadium.

Yet, he has bona fide credentials as not having been a "yes man" to the parties upon whom the greatest heat is falling.

Perhaps he would not be a good administrator, but could be a good man to delegate such duties that could not perform.

His hire would be a national splash, and should be seen as a clean start. He's certainly wealthy enough that he could neither be bought, nor easily intimidated. I know nothing of his education, but given his other accomplishments, an advanced degree would seem unnecessary.

WTF is this crap? People done lost their damn minds.

No potential for a conflict of interest at all? I mean really. Other than sponsoring our stadium and paying Manning to hang out with him I'm not aware of any experience in athletics. His air time is also called a commercial and its not for sports....you crazy.

How about Mitch McConell?

I'm completely on board with Bridgeman at this point. Successful business man, has already served on the BOT, so he knows how a University works. Alumni.

In all honesty, TJ staying wouldn't upset me either. I think that option is still on the table.
