Nevada losing by 33 in the WAC semis. This is the one we couldn’t afford.

Yeah this could put us out of the tourney. Might come down to us vs MTSU for last spot
Pretty much most bracket matrix as of right now have MTSU as the next to be out then us

And just as our luck has been terrible this year. This is the year the MW went back to receive multiple bids LOL .Prior they only sent the conf tourney just not our year for anything.

It doesn't matter whether the Cards make it in the NCAA or the NIT. This team isn't going to win either tourney anyway. It's too bad they can't just turn down the invite. They didn't even act like they wanted to play Virginia after saying they did.

How are the baseball Cards doing?

This only hurts Louisville IF we are truly the last team in, which no one knows. Idk how you can possibly take MTSU or Oklahoma over us. We have a better record, better sos, no bad losses. MTSU has some TERRIBLE losses. I disagree that we're the last team in. I think and hope that we're all surprised in a good way at where the NCAA puts us in at on Sunday...the 10 line.

I just dont see the justification for MTSU, Oklahoma, etc to be in over us. Bama will have 15 losses tomorrow. Why should they be in? Should St John's be in because they beat Villanova and Duke regardless of the amount of losses they have?

I think and hope we're in. I believe Lunardi is wrong.

There is no justification to have us ahead of MTSU last night at midnight, then turn around and switch us behind them today. We have everything over MTSU, 0 bad losses, better resume, bring in $$$, etc. Absolutely no justification.

I'm totally done with this season . I just don't see it working in our favor period. Peace good luck to those that have more optimism.

Another upset in one of these mid majors and if we’re not out now we will be.

We had our opportunity last week when we gave the game away against UVA. To be honest I’m not even sure we deserve to be in. Don’t get me wrong I want them to make it for Q and Anas but that’s different then deserve. We lost 13 games, they just don’t seem to be a tournament team. Hope I’m wrong

The way I see it too.

Cards beat nobody in the T25 with plenty of chances. They really don't have much of an argument if/when they don't get in.

Tough year for everyone that coaches, plays and supports the team. The fact is if a team is on the bubble you can't complain about being left out. They had multiple opportunities to finish games and didn't execute on either end with veterans. It really is on the players.

13-0, BC_1978.

Lunardi's Bracketology now shows UofL as one of the first four out. If true, It'll be the first time since going to 48 teams that the Cards will miss the NCAA tourney with 20 wins.

It sucks but we're getting what we earned.

Under current circumstances we all should know that Louisville could not afford to play themselves onto the bubble. We will catch no breaks from the selection committee due to the barrage of negative news we have been a part of in recent years.

Sunday AM update:

I would think the brackets are set now with one final variable:

11 seed MW
(Last team at large or Davidson if they beat RI)

It's 50/50 we are that last at large, so needbig RI fans today

MTSU might not get in, with losing by a good amount in their regular season finale, then turning around and losing in the CUSA quarterfinals.
