Big news today. Part of the changes is not punishing players and coaches who had nothing to do with the infractions. It could take effect next August.

For Louisville, being on probation with new infractions would fall only on Chris Mack. Probably why the university suspended him those six games. No one from the FBI probe is still at UofL so punishment for that may just be a fine for the university?

We all know the NCAA may make an exception to its new changes and Louisville is one of their top targets. Hopefully these changes will mitigate any sanctions that may be instore for UofL?

The other question is would it be retroactive or just moving forward? My bet is the latter.
And their not voting until August at earliest . Not going to do us anygood and too be honest if this season continues with the way it's been going. Their play is saying not an NCAA team. We might need to do a Auburn and self impose.

Unless i'm blind i don't see anything in their stating that.

I read that in a yahoo sports article on the decision by the NCAA board. It's supposedly one of the main fixtures of the vote for changes.

If we turn things around and become a serious threat they will put us on probation . If we don’t they will wait until we become one.
