Gottfried needs to get them calmed down though, they acted like they won the national title leaving the floor.

Neither does Nova.

NC State has a TON of talent. Not very well coached though IMO.

I didn't envision Nova going far, but didn't expect them to lose this early in.

NC State has a handful of great wins this season.

I just don't think Nova has the inside bulk and athleticism that NC State has. Doesn't matter now, it's NC State IF we get by N. Iowa.

They do and although we don't match up great with them (if we win tomorrow night), this time around Pitino gets more than 2 days to prepare them. Earlier this year, the Cards played Pitt on the 11th of February then turned around and played NC State on the 14th.

Had UofL beating Nova, so they went out 1 game early.

Cards owe State. UNI is just in the way.

Nova is not mediocre and Jay is a very good coach. Unless he has NBA guards like Kyle Lowery he ain't getting close to another final four. His teams aren't built for the tournament. Plus his conference doesn't prepare him very well against physical inside play.
