Already, the Cards have missed five close in shots. It's unbelievable how bad we are at this.

I get insulted by bpghost when i bring it up. Glad someone else see's it and is like why not DUNK the damn ball.
Bpghist said dunks mean nothing. I bet a dunk woukd mean more than a miased 1foot finger roll.

A close-in shot is not necessarily a good shot. And no contested shot is a good shot. Some of these absolutes are obviously forgotten in the heat of the moment.
And not on every close-in shot is the shooter in a position to dunk it. That's not usually the issue. Many of these "shots" shouldn't even be attempted, at least not by these guys...

One or two more dribbles and a dunk.The square is your friend,but it's not as big as they think.
I agree our bigs need to attempt more dunks when close in. That said I believe all our players need to use the square rather than a floater or one that they are trying to lay just over the rim.
How about two air balls by our bigs at the foul line? That's really bad.
Our bigs are essentially young at this. Ray and Anas were bit players last season. Mangok was out all year. JJ has gotten better, bottom line. They need to use what works and that;s what we are seeing. With Anas' reach, his hand is laying the ball in by the time the defender knows its past him. He needs to work on the finishing touch and I wager that is exactly what he's working with Padgett on. Ray has foregone the mid range jumper which he should probably take when open. He has become a highlight reel passer, though.
