Source is the USA Today Data Base. Taken into consideration are all revenue sources including student and taxpayer subsidies, as well as all expense sources. Subsidies and Expenses are both subtracted from Revenue to yield the Surplus/Deficit.
Note: All Schools were in Deficit. Thus the brackets are placed around the amounts. Louisville had the lowest (thus best) Net Operating Deficit at negative $3.32M).
