Missouri football ban

I would think but not sure if Missouri appeals and the ban doesn’t occur until the following year. We all know how expeditious NCAA rulings are. What’s interesting is this is somewhat of a similar issue to the TardHeels and we know what happen there. Another note is that Kelly Bryant from Clemson picked Missouri as his transfer destination. Would love to get a shot at him.

It would probably be a little disappointing not to be allowed to go to a bowl game... but as we have seen lately, those games become less and less important to the players as the 4-team playoff becomes the goal.

As a result, I’d expect that the postseason ban would be a non-issue for players of a lower level SEC program. Missouri players still get 8 games against SEC teams to demonstrate whether they deserve to be drafted by the NFL - they don’t need another glorified exhibition game against an ACC or Big Twelve team to show what they can do.

Agreed...and they suck at basketball and not sure about baseball. Not playing in the whatever bowl game hurts the reps of the overall team, moreso than anything. That is 4 extra weeks of practice which is huge.
