saw where CRP is going to be on Mike and Mike tomorrow. Is this just to satisfy an interview, anyone know? Is he disclosing anything? I hope he's not jeopardizing the situation.

Have to admit, I was a little disheartened by the show. I thought CRP gave an even more compelling statement that he emphatically did not know what was occurring at Minardi Hall. Both Mike and Mike feel that he is being honest. However there seems to be no argument that the two Seniors are innocent and being punished. I think both Mike and Mike feel that falls on the responsibility of the head coach, whether he knew or not.

Another argument I would like to present is that I don't think there is any doubt that the seniors chose to come to Louisville to play for CRP. Sure they wanted to play in the NCAA but they could have gone to other schools with that potential. Also every player on the team in truth is here to play for Pitino. So my point would be if Pitino is dismissed or asked to step down, aren't you punishing other innocent players too?

I think you have to look at a coaches career when these kind of issues come up. With Pitino his career screams NCAA compliance. Everyone that has been connected to him says he goes overboard on compliance. He has created an environment of non-compliance anywhere he has coached. Add to that Jurich stance on compliance. You have a University that stood for compliance. There have been no issues during their time at Louisville until now. My guess is everything about Louisville centered around compliance.

What this tells me is that you can try to control everything, have systems, people and policies in place to prevent violations, but you can never stop an individual(s) from breaking rules.

His coaching career should play a role in his punishment.
