Memphis about to pay a price for thumbing its nose at the NCAA

Whether Memphus State is guilty or not it appears to me that the NCAA is guilty of being totally chicken chit when it comes to dealing with ANY university. I’m thinking that this so called “independent” group is being relied upon in light of the NCAA’s literal butt kicking by UNC’s attorneys. I’m hoping that UofL is in the process of hiring attorneys as we speak to confront those hypocritical lying @$$holes from Indy.

Yeah, I'm not a Memphis State fan or did I approve at their snubbing the NCAA when they were told not to play Wiseman.

But the NCAA must believe they can clean up their own name by having this new independent arm. But, the moment for me in this is now the university can't have their own defense team. They must use an independent team that works for the new arm???? WTH?

Would the schools in the fbi scandal go through this process or the old process? Im guessing memphis case would not be done before everybody else’s since the fbi scandal was years before.

Memphis State pretty much gave the NCAA the bird. I would think they are pretty high on the list of things to do.

I would like to believe that true, and I want to, but honestly it seems like the universities who don't cooperate fair better than those who do. I mean they stripped our national championship banner and we cooperated every single step of the way. UNC, KU, among others kick, scream, and resist then get slapped on the wrist. Doesn't seem fair.

b) Noting that (UofL) was already on probation with the NCAA, DAWKINS indicated that they would have to be particularly careful with how they passed money to Player-11 and his family. Coach-1 agreed, stating "we gotta be very low key." DAWKINS added, "The biggest thing is just making sure that every month Brad (AUGUSTINE) gets what he needs" in order to funnel the payments to Player-11 and his family ... DAWKINS concluded that their plan to funnel money to Player-11 and/or his family in exchange for Player-11's commitment to attend (UofL)
