Long story short U of L has hired another former UK grad in of all positions called the Fan experience . His name is Noah Peterson whom has a twitter post from 2014 that has been posted recently . Stating ' I hate Louisville more than any other team " 12:13pm 11/29/14. That's just a little of the story. Maybin and others have informed thenU of L higher ups they are tired of having these UK persons within the university . it's starting to be as if the school is being sabatoged from the inside. I'm postin a link to Maybins youtube that he does everynite after 11pm or so it's quite the show . and he gives alot of info you wouldnt believe jaw dropping stuff . Maybin really has a good heart and he bleeds red literally . His upset with the school issues are not to be construed or taken like Eaveas whatsoever. Maybin told a heart felt story the other nite about how the school saved his life after the accident sent him to the best medical care in the country admin was beside him the whole way. So he just wants the best for the school.

The scumbag has his tweets protected so they cannot be seen. Sounds very sketchy. I hope Marcus can find out what is going on.

Joseph McCarthy had a committee like that back in the 1950’s

Let’s start with Howard. A UK grad that was working to destroy our program secretly. Or how about UK grad John Ramsey who was working inside with TJ to take us down. Not to mention that former UK employee Rick Pitino who did those scandal over 17 years just to bring us down down down.

You kid, but I can't be convinced that Vince has the same passion for UofL like his predecessor did. Are his multiple bad decisions a sign of ineptitude, or is there something more nefarious at play here? UK alum hires avid Louisville hater for a sweet UofL gig. So, is Vince stupid, or is he up to something?

I do want to make a point about how online culture can be toxic and I hope we don't act like Bluenecks the way they harassed that roofing guy.

Some of those screenshots I see are from almost 7 years ago, he was in high school. I'm not saying this isn't an epic blunder and he should not be fired, it's bad. But really think how easy it is to get all butt hurt about a sports rivalry and start saying hateful things towards a person that you don't know because of tweets he said in high school about your favorite sports team.

The comments aren't cool by him, I'll say it again, but this cancel culture crap has to stop. Scholarships getting pulled because of 8th grade behavior. Kids need to be taught to NOT TWEET and honestly no one under 18 should have a twitter unless it's monitored by a parent.

The Cov Catholic thing really opened my eyes to what online bullying can do to a person and their families. And yes I know some of those families that had to re-locate. Now this needs to be dealt with, but this isn't Bobby Petrino where he gets fired and gets $15 million. This is a guy losing his job and having people from all over attack him because of things above his head. He's the scapegoat for our issues right now and if we were 2-0 and coming off an Elite 8 in basketball, no one would care.

Vince/CSS have to get things together real quick, the people in charge making big bucks are the ones you go after, but making some little 20 year old the victim because he made moronic tweets in high school? What makes you better than him?

Vince is just in over his head. He had 0 experience for a job like this and especially considering he had to make a football and basketball hire for programs in crisis in year 1. We need a REAL Athletic director that can do more PR

I think he was hired to keep people happy and transition us to a new AD. He was there to just keep certain donors happy while they cleaned house. He's a stand-in. I think they'll get someone better when his contract is up. But to be honest? He hired Chris Mack, the best on the board we could get and it's probably who TJ would've hired. He hired Satt, but then again TJ hired Kragthorpe and Bobby 2.0 and not to mention he p**** Brohm off too.

Basketball is plagued by scandal and we lost Rick. Fans are mad and Vince didn't do anything to lose attendance. We had a coach QUIT on our team in mid-year and left us with the worst team in P5 football in 2018. So yes, fans aren't happy about that either. Then add in building up in a global pandemic when he was starting to build some fan trust back. Vince also isn't the one who made Papa John say racist things where we lost him as a donor.

I did not like the CSS hire when it happened, but also Kragthorpe and Bobby 2.0 happened with TJ too. Mack has done what he's supposed to do considering where we were when he got here. We aren't getting back to Lamar vs. Clemson and the Pitino era dominance that was here when Vince arrived in a short span, it has to be built.

Your defense of this guy is typical of most of your post. It seems your are quite negative when Louisville does something wrong, when our rival does something wrong you are the first to defend them. I don’t think this guy should be working at Louisville let sUcK hire him.
I also think Louisville should give priority hires to Louisville alumni over any graduate from another school. This is what universities do but first they should check their Twitter page and see if they have something there that is negative and damaging. This is not cancelling anybody it is vetting.

Because I'm not some fascist that thinks a little rivalry should trigger my very existence that our fanbase falls into with BlueneckPhobia. They're a lower tier SEC football program. They're a basketball power in a sport that has barely any national significance.

What I used to love about our fans over the sUcKs nation was that we really got under their skin because we beat them and we were rising. They'd insult us and try not to play us. They'd act like they were so much better, but we just won games and moved up. Now we're the fanbase that cries about a hand gesture. Now we're the fanbase that spouts conspiracy theories about ESPN/UK/Bevin working to take us down. We used to laugh at how delusional they were, they always WON the offseason and had 0 self reflection. Now we're the ones that can't even discuss things civilly.

This rivalry isn't the Communism scare. Sports are about SPORTS. Games. Cheering and booing. Beating other teams down with out play and not with our mouths. If we can't criticize our own without having some fascist loyalty test, then are we better than them anymore?

We ARE LOUISVILLE. MY degree is from the class institution of the state. We are the place that funds the trailer parks. We're the program that has BCS, NAtional Titles, College World Series, etc etc etc. We have the best medical programs in the southeastern USA. We have so much going for us to worry about WalmartU down the road all the time.

Good for him because if the shoe was on the other foot , BBN would be worse . Our fans are tired of the black clouds thats something we cant control. But we can voice our displeasure with the admin for hiring known pro UK people constantly. I bet my life savings that Uk would never ever do such a stupid move.

I agree, go after the admin for being incompetent, just leave that guy alone and not try to ruin his life. I hate social media.

Nobody is advocating violence, but you sure do take up for Kentucky on here. For all we know, you may be this Noah dude.

Don’t get upset I just pointed out that when we do something wrong you are the first one to attack us and when sUcK does something wrong you are the first one to defend them. Nobody is talking about fascism or communism except I guess you.

Because I've been taught to look inward and do more evaluation of my own tribe rather than another tribe. Taking up for them to some on here is "they're a decent team" and "don't ruin a kids life over a sports rivalry" or "hey lets not make a 10 page thread about them"

I don't like UK, but I save my hate for people like ISIS and the Taliban. Just like politics, I don't like the other side but they're my neighbors and friends, they're human. I don't like this tribalism in the USA. We do it in too many areas.

And sometimes I do some contrarian type posts about sUcKs just to prove a point that fanhood of Louisville isn't based on hateful obsession of a rival. I love UofL more than I hate sUcKs. I just see how anything blue just triggers. You should see the UK fans I know and how I troll and trigger them daily, even when we're losing to them I can get under their skin. But? We do it friendly and don't hold it against each other as life is short.

I don't watch their games or know their players unless they play us or I gamble on them. My days are based around UofL games, not hate watching others.

Maybin really has a good heart and he bleeds red literally .

I approached Marcus one night at Phoenix Hill prior to his SR season and started a conversation and I thought he was a great dude. He could have been brief told me to go on etc but no he shot the breeze for a few. Told him I hoped he went off his final year etc I was just being a fan and he was very cool.

The dude trolled Lamar Jackson so relentlessly, that Lamar wound up blocking this fool. Dude took pride in it, and retweeted the blocked icon all over BBN. THIS WAS IN 2017! Our Heisman winner. For that alone, he should be fired by sundown.

I think the big beef UofL fans have in this situation isn't really that he is a UK grad, former UK intern, KSR fanboy, or even huge UK fan. It's that he openly expressed his HATRED (his words, not mine) for all things UofL and openly mocked UofL. And it wasn't just when he was a "kid". Sure, a professional adult can adjust their attitude towards a paying employer, but I don't believe you can put aside hatred when it comes to an opportunity to assist your obviously beloved team and possibly harm your hated rival. Allegiances run deep, and cannot be bought in most cases.

That’s great for you! I like to multi task and pull for Louisville and root against Kentucky.

We have a lot of fans similar to you, some even where Kentucky blue when we play them.

Vince just stated at his press conf in relation to this Noah guy. That he is not happy with what he knows and has seen now about him.

If you voted for the corrupt Matt Bevin you got what you voted for with that fool a carpetbagger from New England sent here by big money to install right to work for less laws attack public school teachers and abortion providers, and apparently destroy UofL for I would say huge campaign donations from UK boosters.

Tom Jurich was a big GOP guy and had pull in those donor circles. The MONEY in Kentucky comes from Louisville, don't forget it. So the donors are in this city. Not to mention MITCH MCCONNELL is a UofL fan. He plays innocent for votes, but he is full on red and that's who runs the state GOP.

All of this GOP Bevin thing got too far when Pitino made that statement about Bevin wanting him out. Newsflash, TJ was going to fire Rick and Bevin had nothing to do with the FBI. Bevin didn't put in place this board knowing the FBI probe would happen. Now are they incompetent? YES! But had the FBI probe not happened, TJ would still be here with Rick Pitino and Bevin wouldn't have been working to take them out. The Bowen recruitment caused this to happen, not some secret conspiracy.

From the way it seems to me, Papa Drunk wanted more power and was jealous of Tom. He was the one that pushed a narrative and when it hit the fan, he pounced and used his influence. Papa wanted the power and I think him and another group of older Louisville donors who hated Tom were in it together. Not a conspiracy, but just had good timing.

Steve Beshear is the BIG UK fan that was starting the process of going after UofL and I remember many here were happy when he was leaving office. Calipari was freaking going to host a Beshear fundraiser until the media caught on to the matter.

If you think only money from Louisville backed Bevin you are delusional. You might want to Google the Citizens United case ruling the Supreme Court burdened every American with. SMGDH

That's a totally different discussion that you and I probably agree on about money in politics being awful, but this is a totally different discussion. Look I'm left wing, but lets keep the reddit level "money in politics" in another forum.

But this is about a "conspiracy" of UK money going to Bevin to help take down UofL and Im just pointing out that Mitch McConnell is a big UofL supporter. The in-state GOP Donors, the big ones, are UofL fans. Tom Jurich was very influential in GOP circles. That's what this is about.

I‘d like to know what type of references they used to hire this guy and who was the one to give the final say so to hire him. I would also like to know how many more sUcK fans we have working for our program. We know if they have deleted their Twitter accounts they have something to hide. If Tyra was the one who checked his references and gave the final say so that is just another reason to question Tyra himself, he is starting to make too many missteps.

News flash …..indaville is acknowledging that he is a liberal; I think we that was pretty obvious to all by your posting.

Your effort to use the liberal vs conservative, or the Dem vs GOP as some explanation for its effect on UL is totally misguided, and regrettably you have failed to understand that UL is the victim of decades of influential individuals in the Commonwealth, including Jefferson Co., who believe the only way to protect UK’s Flagship position is minimizing and denigrating UL in any manner possible. The CJ, regardless of its strong liberal Democratic influence, hates UL more than they hate conservative Republicans. They initiated their attack on Dr James Ramsey (a registered Democrat) for no reason other than to stop the incredible and unprecedented successful growth of UL under his leadership.

Maybin is “the strong voice in the wilderness”, with the courage to speak the truth ……you would do well to listen and follow his lead if you are indeed a UL fan.
