Wondering if anyone heard him on Deener's show this morning. He was genuinely peeved at something Andy Sweeney posted after the game that was insulting the Cards' players.

Not surprised knowing what a punk Sweeney is but just wondering if anyone saw what he posted. There were even UK fans calling it low class.

It was either a video he posted or a tweet. I'm not sure what it was but it pissed Marques off because it had something to do referencing the Cardinal players after a gut wrenching loss.

Sweeney had just more in your face cruelty to the losers, a legendary coach who brought them back from the death penalty and some kids who played their hearts out and lost. Called the Pitino video a "loser perp walk". Trying desperately to mine anger, dissappointment and sadness. Its such a wonderful time to be alive, with the Internet, where a "have nothing-never-did" can troll for a reaction out of fantastically successful people who normally wouldn't spit on them if they were on fire. Wonderful sportsmanship and class. Most of these "journalists" have the compunction of a leech. Thank goodness Maybin called him out on it.

Really impressed with MM's insights into the game in particular Damien's 3 offensive drives early in the game where MM says that Damien knows he's going to get the call and FTs AND will set him up for jump shots later in the game because the defender will be backing off more. BUT at rupp on Saturday, he got 0 of those calls. That's where a former player's insights are enlightening. You don't get that from Decourcey or Forde.

? For you the board: Phil Steele rates home field advantages for cfb by program. Most fans consider 3 points as normal, but the Shoe for osu is worth 7 points and Happy Valley is 6 and most likely UCF this year 2 or 3 max. Has anyone ever seen the home court advantage for CBB? My guess is UK at rupp is +5 or +6. Not a gambler, but lots of media members really didn't make much of how impressive the Cards comeback was on Saturday in that environment.
Watching with my boys in Pittsburgh, we think that's UK's high water mark especially shooting wise for the year. The Cards are just getting all the pieces tuned up. Adel only 2 minutes; in March he might get 20 minutes and be our shut down defender. Q and Ray will have much better games than Saturday. Nanu will dominate inside in 2 months. NO Mango now; back defending and finishing in March. Boys the ACC battles begin Sunday! This team has sooooo many options at Rick's disposal come March and we have another possible AA IN Damien Lee and Trey Lewis leading this team for a deep tourney run!

Andy Sweeney is unlistenable .... A very poor man's Colin Cowherd, who is also unlistenable.

His defense of his post was equally cringeworthy ... he called into the show and tried to defend it, saying it was just a joke, and Marques told him to take it down, and he said "but it got a lot of likes".

This post and LouisvilleJD's make me regret not viewing this thread earlier. These are terrific takes, imo, and fully mirror my own except for one basic fact -
