When Onuaku got those two fouls and had to sit in the first I got a little worried. If you would've told me before the game that he would be on the bench for as long as he was I would've thought UofL would be in huge trouble with UNCs bigs to contend with.

Mahmoud still has a long way to go but he has already come so far. You can see his confidence growing. He really stepped up today and had big inside presence while Nanu was out. He had some big blocks and altered a lot of other shots. The BEHIND the back pass to Lee was really awesome. Props to Anas!

I see that young man having 10+ years in the NBA if he can stay healthy. His upside is off the charts high.

That behind the back pass was 'sick'. Roy had a heart pain seeing that play right in front of him. Mahmood is really showing some nice inside moves especially with his left hand.....at the rate he is progressing the Cards might lose him to the NBA before he makes it to his sr year.

Hope not....now if we can only get Matz to that level soon and get Mathiang back healthy.....watch out for the Cards.

I really like the 3 guard rotation we have going for us right now.....they complement each other very well. Props to the staff for the player development and team meshing that is going on this year. Impressive.

Anas has NBA level footwork around the paint. Once he gets the strength to finish around the basket he will be unstoppable.

Yeah that is the main thing Anas is lacking right now. Strength and some more weight. Once he gets more of both- which he has already improved some- he will be even more dangerous and less easily pushed out of the paint. He just has so much skill for a big man that his ceiling is very high.

Again,I know he's playing the 5 here, but he looks like a 4 at the next level,if he can develop an outside shot.I can't help the thought of Anas alongside Mango or Onuaku.

We're on the same wavelength, earsky. I just posted a thread about this very subject.
