Basically Deener asked him are they overreacting and Luke's inflection of his voice saying yes cannot be described in words. He went on giving insightful and very smart takes on his stand from a knowledgeable player and analyst not like our emotional fan perspective.
Who is they? I assume fans who think Mack sucks, despite CV pauses, losing Malik, several other players temporarily and beating UK and Duke twice.
I’m sure Tiny Drew didn’t like that, but all the while kissing Luke’s behind like he does all guests that are much smarter than the Li’l Deener.
Yell it crushed him cause all he has been doing is bashing Mack and the team. It's no secret he relishes the days of Rick he showed his hand when he went and sat behind the Gophers bench. And then you have Luke who played for Rick and has no problem calling things as he sees it. I really appreciate him not letting his fondness for Rick which he has also . Not effect his common sense.
As a matter of fact after that Vir game he was bashing Mack and a fan called in or texted . Calling him out again about that Gophers bench thing he went off sounded like a little kid. Perrin even got real silent he knew Drew was wrong.

reminded us this morning that this is the 2nd youngest team in the ACC. The core is solid on this team.
Like I’ve always said, Li’l Deener is paid to like UofL. If he wasn’t getting paid, he’d be back in the bosom of BBN...publicly anyway, he’s always been privately.
Yell his background is BBN radio .
Now i am seeing first hand why thel ocal media called Juricch a bully. He didn't put up with all the negative U of L bs they spew. Tyra is going to have put his foot down with some of these hacks. The UK AD's dont put up with that crap in Lex . Prime exp Matt got a little big in the head recently and they shut his but down real fast.

Rick's guys are loyal to Rick. That's why he's such a great coach, his players are all in to play for him. It's why he pretty much forced out the Crum era. It's why his guys at sUcKs were cheering for us while he was here. It even goes to media too, Rick's cult of personality is part of his success, but also his failures. There's going to be a contingent of guys that want Mack to fail, because they're Rick guys and that's what he brings.
It's why we should take Luke's critiques and praise seriously. Luke is L1C4. He loves Rick, but he's truly a guy that is all in for UofL athletics. He's going to call it honestly down the middle.
David Padgett and the guys like Perry, McMahon, Nwora, Malik, etc. who helped transition to this Mack era really helped save this program and I'll put it on here over and over. Transitioning away from Rick was always going to be hard and is still a tough road. Fans have checked out, donors have backed off, and without TJ to smooth it over it's even harder. But bridging the gap between 2017 & 2018 when Mack arrived is what will keep our program going.
