Loved the ball movement vs Bellarmine

Offense is always a hot November topic with Pitino's teams but I noticed that they were doing more than the usual early season high pick and rolls. They were running some plays and the ball was being moved around quite a bit.

And I didn't really see anyone trying to "get theirs". They look like they are really trying to do what coach tells them to do.

Bellarmine is a very good team and could likely beat a lot of the lower half of D-1 teams. This was a good test for the Cards.

RP started Lewis/Lee/Adel/Onuaku/Mathiang....

Onuaku hit the glass and both he and Mathiang blocked and/or altered a lot of shots.

Adel isn't ready offensively but he can play D.

Lewis has pretty good handles, and a decent control of the offense. Nobody forced shots, but the offense didn't get going right away.

Jaylen Johnson had a nice game he finished quite a few inside. Mitchell hit a few threes it was nice to see.

Spalding looks like he has a bright future, he had a really nice block in the first half.

Mahmoud may begin as the odd man out somewhat but he got to play and he did okay out there.

Snider had a # of assists.

Team appears to have good chemistry.

I agree. This could be a very good passing team. Onuaku is an underrated passer. Lewis appears to have a good feel for the game. The last couple of years we've had more ready to play talent, but we've also had some guys that at times were guilty of stopping the ball on offense. This team does not appear to have a player with a propensity to do that.
