The Cards are rebounding very well on the offensive glass so far. Not a whole lot going through the hoop though but you gotta love the effort.

I think they are trying so hard inside they abandoned the outside game for awhile. They look a lot better now that they are playing outside and an inside game.

Yeah the Cards looked a lot better to close out the half. Mitchell with the 3 pointer at the buzzer to end the first half off a nice pass from Snider.

I'd like to see him put Vaghn in I think we would have more success.

Cards getting into foul trouble and WKU hitting the offensive glass now. Lee with the and one though.

I don't know why I called Spalding Vaghn but I am glad he is back in there I think we are a better team with him in there.

I love the way that Snider perfectly sets up Lee for some of those 3s. Also liked how Spalding slammed the ball two handed and got fouled instead of trying a finesse layup.

Mango gets worse every year

I wouldn't say that. I think his physical skill set has improved. He just never seems to recognize when he's double-teamed in the post. Hope he's okay - just left the game with a foot injury.

Mangok just went to the locker room with a left foot injury of some kind. Yeah I feel better with Spalding out there too.

Shooting is trending up this entire second half. Now 24-52, 46.2%.

Finished 30-65, 46.2%.

Keep pouring it on. Was hoping for a 50 point blowout but this will do. Suck on that, Ray Harper.

Hopefully the series will continue when WKU fires that clown.

Good test for the Cards. Made them buckle down and refocus when the margin got down to 7 in the 2nd half.

I wouldn't mind UofL not playing WKU again for a while, especially at their home. Just as long as the Cards replace them with an opponent like UNLV or something like that.

I was glad WKU put up some kind of resistance because it does help refocus the team, and they needed it at that point. The 30-40 point blow out wins can lead to bad/lazy habits when you can still get away with it and win easily.
