I agree. I hope for the best each game but at this point I don't truly believe they will win. Too many disappointments so far.I want to have hope. I want to believe this stretch of Louisville hoops is temporary, but that just may be wishful thinking.
What I do know is Louisville has lost 27 out of their past 32 games. It's still so hard to believe.
5 - 27
And it's likely going to get uglier. If this doesn't stop soon we're going to see numbers that will be so bad it could land the program into mediocrity for a decade.
In this game tonight at the Yum if the Cards again are run out of their own gym by a average at best Syracuse team, there may be no more hope left for anyone.
Hell NO. That was progress!! Great job by everyone. Closing games is tough. Even when you are confident.Awful
Right! One more pass and they’re possibly out with a 1 point win. Too many turnovers. One more assist El or pull up...🥺
He did but we win if he kicks it or pulls up. Thought he could blow by Ole boy,but he didn't.Wheeler was played at the time. El shared the ball. BIGs played like bigs, KP Coached with passion.
Lol - here represents the depths to which Payne has taken this program. Excuses and moral victories.Hell NO. That was progress!! Great job by everyone. Closing games is tough. Even when you are confident.

Snakebitten or a point guard making mindless and selfish turnovers at the end of the game? Was there ever really any doubt this happened? Louisville basketball is as snakebitten that a program can be.
It's truly remarkable.
Agree but I think in that moment he panicked about how much time was left. It happened quickly and you’re definitely not expecting the Syracuse player with the ball to fall down.He did but we win if he kicks it or pulls up. Thought he could blow by Ole boy,but he didn't.
Snakebitten??? More like bad coachingWas there ever really any doubt this happened? Louisville basketball is as snakebitten that a program can be.
It's truly remarkable.
I'm not mad at Ellis. I wish he would've pulled the trigger at the foul line. He had the hot hand. It's the extra dribbling gets us every time 🤷Agree but I think in that moment he panicked about how much time was left. El also might have had a flashback to the App St. game where he missed getting the winning shot off by a tenth of a second.
This game was progress for this team even though we blew a couple of opportunities at the end.
Nothing fun about losing....Again ! I'll raise an eyebrow when we win the next 11 straight and get to .500 anything less is just meh..fun game.
Off his foot would have been more “acceptable”. He was trying to get fancy and simply dribbled the ball out of his own reach.17 assists......but 21 turnovers and 4-10 from FT line. Ball game.
Man that totally unforced TO from Ellis at the top of the key late in the game to give Cuse that layup was a killer. I don't even know how he turned it over. I assume he dribbled off his foot or something.
