LOUISVILLE VS NOTRE DAME GAME THREAD

Do you have a link to watch? Outside of louisville so no wave 3 and blacked out on watch espn.

I don't know if we win or not,but I like this team and where they're getting to.

Sorry no link. Just watching on wave 3. Mitchell has sky high confidence right now and I like that he is attacking the rim instead of settling for too many jumpers.

Mahmoud having a block party inside which is needed because ND is still scoring inside a lot. One thing Mitchell needs to cut back on are the super deep quick 3 point attempts.

Cards making their comeback but they have to stop falling do far behind to begin with. Still good to see some life from Adel and Ray.

Defensive stops here in will be the difference if they can get them.

That, and knowing our wings cannot be kept out of the paint if they quit launching the first thing they see.

Why do our bigs constantly dribble around underneath? Go up with the ball. Pass the ball as well.

0-2.

39 minutes of clawing to the point of having a chance and those 2 back to back plays.Geez

We are just snake bitten at ND. We could never get over the hump. We would miss a FT or turn the ball over and ND makes ridiculous shots.

Right, and yet....there we are with a chance despite all of that and dummy up late.

Too much dribbling by certain individuals.. can't seem to take what they learned in wins over UK and Indiana. Still weird combinations. Mathiang sat a lot as well as Snider in 2nd half. Adel never really got it going but Rick stayed with him. I guess he didn't think King could play defense.

All that is true but ND always plays above their ability against the Cards. None of their players will sniff the NBA draft but tonight two of them looked like all Stars. Vasturia and Farrell drove to the goal like it was easy. I can't wait to see them flame out again in the tourney.

Terrible job of defending the high ball screen - every time one of our bigs got left on #5, he was able to get past them and to the rim easily. Nothing from JJ either. He looked lost.

They're the only team that has made the Elite Eight the past two years and had double digit second half leads against both Nova and Purdue in both losses this year before blowing the games late. Nowhere near as talented as the Cards but let's not act like Louisville just lost to Prairie View A&M.

ND does not lose often at home. They have a good team.

Rick is still tinkering with rotations, looking at combinations.
