LOUISVILLE VS NC STATE GAME THREAD- 7PM ACCN

What in the hell is the deal? The defense was in the circle. That can't be a charge on Curry. Ever since that horrendous call, State went on a scoring run.

It's unbelievable how everything goes against this team.

Who are these refs? Cards just double team a State player and his feet are all over the place. If you can rewind and look, you can clearly see. The ref is right there and he doesn't call a walk. I just don't understand college hoops officiating.

Ellis is a shooting guard. Dude is not a point. He needs to realize this. He’s a volume guy/shooting guard. Embrace it god dammit.

Agreed. We’re getting hosed tonight.

It's as obvious as it gets and this is what I don't understand. The footage is there to see but there's never any accountability. There's no questioning. It's just accepted.

Curry didn't touch the player on the 3 point play, and even if he had, there was no reason to call a foul there. The dude had already scored.

Wouldn't have mattered because there's just no leadership on the floor or on the sideline. You can have a cut group of promising soldiers, but if there's no one leading by example, you get routed on the battlefield.

Team should watch Band of brothers.

The ball dies with Ellis and James as the one and two. No movement. Hero ball or a turnover.

They should only be down by 8 to 10. This ridiculous 3 point shooting is BS. I knew I jinxed us when I said this was the first team not to shoot the lights out.

Ellis is not killing us. He gives more than he loses. Without him, we wouldn't average 60 points a game.

Got to give some credit tonight for effort and perseverance that we haven't been seeing. Hot 3 point shooting and home court cooking is what made this a double digit game.

First real sign of improvement.

He is at point. Needs to be at the two guard. And we already hardly average 60 ppg, 13 games in..

Well, everyone knows there's no viable option to run point and play 30 minutes. Miller and Basili are not capable so Ellis has to play the point.

Actually not. Cards are shooting better than NC State. Have more rebounds even. It's been State's 3 point shooting and the Cards lack of a real second guard which is why we're so turnover prone.
As long as you're happy with it...

I'm not.

Lol we need to run Ellis and Hercy at guard and rotate James, Lands at a small forward, and have BHH and curry run the front court with withers rotating at power forward.

Ellis is already playing 40 minutes, and Hercy could play majority of point guard rotating with Fábio.

We are not a good basketball team. In fact, we are bad, period. Not a good future with KP at the helm.

GO CARDS!!!

That was an interesting game. I thought the Cards played a decent game in the 1st half especially on the defensive end. A golden opportunity was missed in the 1st half with State shooting so badly though.

The game almost got away from them in the 2nd half, but they found a way to stay in it. Their ability to stay in it was somewhat due to State’s foul trouble. I honestly thought that State’s run would come much sooner than it did.

The turnovers, missed free throws and some questionable shot selection cost them in this one. In my opinion, there were some questionable/missed calls on both sides. Cards covered.
