As bad as I hate it, I don’t see us winning. This team completely checked out after the FSU game, I don’t think that this group could beat any P5 team at the moment.

Kittens 35
CARDS 24

I can't believe the line is just 17. The only question is when will Louisville spit the bit. Snell is going the rushing record at 205 he will get it. This is a terrible matchup a physical offensive line against a unit that hasn't shown the ability to stop the run against anyone. A good defense against a terrible offensive line.

The only hope is OC tries to be cute and throw the ball.

42-10. Cats

I agree with the theme of this thread. The Cards are going to get waxed. Horrible matchup on both sides of the ball for the Cards. UofK can more or less name the score. The Cards won't be able to move the ball against UofK, and Snell will run wild. I'll be surprised if the Cards score.

I'll still watch, but I'm not expecting much of a game.

I see a grinding low scoring game both ways; UK's offense has become almost as anemic as ours...almost. I'm hoping we can get into field goal range often enough to have 3-4 FG attempts. I could see us keeping it close for a half, but UK scoring a couple of easy TDs late as the reality of the long ugly season sets in late for our guys. I'll go with 27-9 Cats. I think the real show could be in the stands; a full day of tailgating and drinking, combined with a larger presence of UK fans than usual, in a game in which they see the opportunity to exact some revenge for last year's game, not to mention our recent domination in the series. I don't think it's a stretch to predict security will be kept busy separating chirping visitors from hometown fans whose patience is at an end after this torturous season.

I hope our fans don't act up too much. It would be out of character and I for one wouldn't approve.

I don't think UL's defense can stop the offensive attack we do have. We can be anemic but our strengths are UL's weaknesses. Wilson and Snell should have a big rushing day, Rose may add big numbers as well. I would expect 300+ rushing yards and 150+ in passing. Josh Allen is going to be a real problem for your Oline. Stoops isn't much for running up scores, even when he has the opportunity so I'd say we max out around 38 and I think you'll max out around 16.

UK 31, UofL 10. Unfortunately for us, UK just much better this year at not beating themselves. .. even their inconsistent offense is more consistent than ours.

Everyone except BC has put 50 points on us over the past 2 months. I guess people feel like UK doesn't have an explosive enough offense? I'm expecting something like 55-10 UK.

UK is very much like that BC team... very good running game and a strong defense. So of all of our previous games that one is likely the best predictor.

Agree, they will run until we can't stop it. And we will have to put 9 in the box to stop the run. Then they will throw play action passes for touchdowns. End of the day they will brutalize us! It will be ugly brother and lady Card fans!

This isn’t just a bad team this year. It’s historically bad. Epically bad. UK might come in overconfident, however. UK’s offense is also, actually, statistically worse than UofL’s. Still, UofL would struggle against Male. I just don’t see any way UofL wins. They haven’t shown a thing all year. I can see a 28-0 type of game.

Probably our best hope is that UK OC Eddie Gran forgets to feed Benny Snell. He’s been known to do that occasionally.

“Out of character”? You’re a member of one of the most obnoxious, bad sported, uneducated, foul mouthed, drunken fanbases on the planet.

“Out of Character”?? That’s rich li’l fella. You spin quite a hilarious yarn.

I honestly don't know.

I mean, I would expect UK to win...obviously why they're favored by so much but I would be shocked if UK scored nearly as much as some of you all are predicting.

Kentucky is actually worse than Louisville in total offense, passing offense and both teams are equally awful in points per play.

This isn't a game I can see Louisville winning....because UK still needs this win for a better bowl and they've been dominated recently and will want to extract revenge. But I dunno....I've watch Kentucky enough to know they aren't very good and they aren't playing ver good. If the correct call had been made in the Missouri game you're looking at a team who's lost 3 of their last 4 and struggled with Middle Tennessee.

If Louisville can come out and muster to play with any level of heart and determination I think this could be a close game. Not a good game, but a close game. Louisville tried for nearly all of the first half last week and then gave up....but up until about a minute to go in the first half they were a single score away from a team thats much better than Kentucky. They got blown out and quit in the second half but this team is talented enough to play with Kentucky...will they? Based on the previous games? Absolutely not....but it wouldn't shock me if this were a close game.

Let’s see...we’ve been playing like crap lately, and you guys have been playing like crap a little longer this year, but...it’s a rivalry game, so everything gets thrown out the window. I say we both play like crap again, and whoever fumbles the ball close enough for one of the kickers to MAYBE make a FG wins..3-0.

I’ll be there in the crunch zone with my son, and at least the weather looks good for some tailgating.

That doesnt seem to be the opinion of most other teams fans but whatever I guess.

You're going to need to adjust for SOS. UK is #16, UL is something like #78. Our offense has been going up against better defenses.

I'm guessing Ky. will be a bit flatter than a normal season where they're underdogs. I also think that the underclassmen here are going to blow their necks for the 10 or so seniors playing their last games. It won't be enough, but should make for a more exciting game.

UK 27-17

Yeah, better defenses. That’s it. It’d be one thing if UK’s offense was ranked 60th to 80th. But 114? Better defenses play a role, but so does a bad offense. That’s why Gran will be fired.

I don't think it's Gran. Stoops has had some decent offensive coordinators and they all end up playing this style. It has to be the head coach dictating that.

I don't think its Gran, I think its Stoops. Hopefully we open things up a bit today and give Benny and Wilson room to run. We'll see.

It is hard to give up 50 points so many games in a row and now believe that the 'D' can hold any opponent, even KY, under that amount in a season ending game. Cards 'O' is predictably unpredictable too.

So, my WAG is 24-52, cats win. Would love to be proven wrong, but just don't feel it or see it happening for the Cards this year.

Have mercy and get this season over with.

The only way that I see us having a chance at pulling this off is for the defense to sell out by staying close to the the line of scrimmage and hitting the gaps on run blitzes. Even then, we have to tackle.

We have to hope that they can’t take advantage in the passing game. Wilson has been pretty good at times doing just that.

Also, this Sorry ass O-line has to bring it for one night.

I said in a thread earlier this season that I don't go to any game expecting to lose.

I always find a reason to be optimistic. Even back in the early years of CHS I could find hope for wins against the national schedule we played. I remember us with Jeff Brohm getting Tennessee in old Cardinal Stadium, and I KNEW we could beat them. Then Jeff broke his leg.......

But that optimism got shot to $#!t later this season.

I've never seen a U of L team with such lack of heart, hustle, and give-a-chit.

If we win? So what. It will not take the taste out of my mouth from this season of the WORST FB team in the modern era, and probably all-time, of University of Louisville Football.

Snell gets the rushing record tonight. uk gets a three TD lead, and Stoops just runs the ball the rest of the game.

We can't stop it and they score 3 more.

50-17

And we keep a grip on the record for most games giving up 50 points.
