Boys, we had them off the field. All he had to do was dive down, use his shoulder even. This was what I talked about. Play steady defense, don't give up the big play, control the ball. One bad play may have turned this game around unless we continue to score some.
See what I mean? UK scores and now what was a total mismatch is now nerve-wracking and I could see it coming a mile away. You know why?
Because I've seen it several times this season. We just don't seem to learn from our bad decisions. Maybe it's just bad luck, but to me Brohm should have made sure in that 1st quarter, this game was over.

Brohm must be reading this thread as that possession was all on the ground with the two superior backs. This is exactly what should have happened in that 1st quarter.
Brohm likes and wants to throw the ball and as a OC, he's been pretty successful in his career. But as a head coach he has to get better in my opinion balancing his obligations to each.
