Count on every team to miraculously come out of a shooting slump or shoot way above their average against UofL.
Nightmare start. Nwora can’t go left, every coach in the country knows it. NBA? That’s laughable. Simply a catch and shoot guy, nothing more. Hey Mack wake up and start Johnson.
Not only are we playing bad but we look basketball dumb right now. They shoot a 3 point air ball and Williamson tries to save out of bounds but couldn’t. All he had to do was let it go out of bounds and it was ours.
Nwora looks like he would rather be anywhere but on the court right now.
They are playing like after the Duke loss last year but this season I can't see the reason for the regression.
I think our players are looking at the records of our opponents and thinking it is an easy win. All these teams across the country are trying to play themselves into the tournament. It is do or die for these teams so they are giving it everything they have.
I love Katie George but I don’t like her telling what she heard in the Louisville huddle during the timeout.
They’re looking like they did after the Duke collapse last year. Just regressing and like they’ve hit a wall.

I agree. Something is going on that we don't know about. The effort is gone. Nwora looks like he's sleepwalking. Same goes for Enoch. Even McMahon looks disinterested.
Look at it this way.
Nwora, Sutton, Perry, Enoch, Williams and McMahon all committed to play for Rick Pitino. All of those guys had to endure the Padgett season and then a new coach comes in and they all have to adapt.
Johnson, Nickleberry, Igiehon, Williamson, Withers, and Slazenski are all the Super 6 class Coach Mack brought in to play. They haven’t gotten much of a chance. Williamson was a projected lotto pick and has been sent to the bench. DJ has come in and out the older guys on notice.
Fresh is a GT that was used to taking all of the shots at his losing mid-major team.
Mack trusted the older guys, but they aren’t his guys and they’re struggling. Mack’s freshman see the upperclassmen struggling and may wonder why their leash isn’t as long. DJ taking over as the most effective player put the old guys on notice.
Now there isn’t a split, but there’s 6 freshman who were a highly touted class and only 2 are getting to play. They’re all Mack’s guys. The Upperclassmen are the better players, but they’re part of the Pitino era.
There isn’t a true leader. There isn’t a cohesive set of players that play well together. It’s what comes with the territory sometimes for a new coach.
I don't care who you're playing, if you continue to miss shots including 3 foot shots, you will lose and lose big. We could be playing a High School team today and shooting this bad, the HS team would be leading by double figures.
I don't really understand what got broke within the inner circle of this team but Mack gets paid to fix it so it's up to him now.

I agree. If you're going to lose, then let the youngsters play to gain some experience.
Hi had a bad feeling that we would lose one of these last two games. I never thought it would be both.
