Louisville fans and players on twitter

So obviously fans saying things like that is completely wrong and the players don’t deserve that. However, looking at the responses by the players, it just seems like there’s a disconnect between the current players and the city. Many times throughout the season, our players have taken to Twitter to argue with fans or just simply give vague/uninterested tweets towards the city and the fans. They’ve tweeted things like this multiple times, but most prevalent this past year. It just seems as though the players from last years roster weren’t actually playing in Louisville. They thank the fans from time to time, yes, but I can’t help but notice they absolutely do not have a strong relationship with the city, unlike previous teams. It just seems like they have far too much arrogance for only winning 4 games. It could be because of the new age of technology and social media but there is very obviously a massive disconnect between the players and the city and really only became this blatantly obvious this past season.
