looking ahead to Miami

They have beaten North Carolina and Virginia Tech but have also lost to a sub par Florida SEC team.

They are decent. If Louisville is hitting on all cylinders I see no reason not to expect a hurricane beat down in the Yum.

Defensive pressure is going to play a big factor in the game IMO. The Cardinals have to turn up the pressure on them. We won't have to turn them over so much as speed them up. It'll feel like we're looking in the mirror. They go about 8 or 9 deep with a senior and junior in the back court. Their big players are young so maybe we can get them in foul trouble? IDK. Defense will win this game.

Miami isn't much of an offensive team but the do defend. They like to depend on a slower pace of play. The key when we beat them was we forced a lot of turnovers that allowed us to get points in transition. With Louisville's good full court press I expect a similar tactic from Louisville. But if Miami can beat the press they can be dangerous because they do defend very well.

They have an extremely turnover prone PG and no frontcourt to speak of. That's the opposite of how you beat UofL. Davon Reed is the only guy you have to stay glued to on defense.

Don't look now but that Florida team they beat has a Top Ten in the Ken Pm ratings. That my friend is a quality win Miami has. We need to bring our A game. If we d I can see about a 12 to 15 point win.

Will be curious to see how coach plays Q back into the line up. He looked good yesterday and was shooting the rock really well. Hicks is about a week from returning but was working on his game too. Should be a good game. Agree with us bringing out A game

I guess I don't understand this post. Miami lost to Florida at Miami so it certainly was not a quality win. Still I agree the Cards must be ready to play or it could be a low scoring contest too close for comfort.
