Lloyd Tubman

I thought this kid played for LPT and is one of many who got in trouble there??

LPT Football: We're known for that...

I think he dropped out of school in October, to deal with a rape allegation. Now the grand jury has declined to prosecute. His mother was quoted as hoping he could go back to UK, but who knows what will happen next. UK would have to decide if they want him to come back, I guess. I wouldn't have a problem with him at U of L, as long as he behaved himself properly.

No thanks. The cats can have him. I'm sure they're over there singing kumbaya as we speak. To bad they still SUCK and we OWN them.

I hope Tubman returns to UK, but I have no ill will if he decides otherwise. Apparently, he has to go through a process headed by the Dean of Students that has a way less requirement of proof than what is required for indictment.

Anyways, if he doesn't come back to UK, UofL would be lucky to land him. He's a 3 star on Rivals, but a 4 star on another service.

He had an offer out of high school from UofL, but chose UK. Many of UofL's transfers originally had an offer from UofL but chose to go elsewhere, just like Tubman. Wiggins, JHC, and Williams all had UofL offers but chose other schools. They are all on UofL's roster now. If Tubman decides to move on from UK I suspect UofL will be in the mix considering they originally offered.

If he wanted to attend U of L, I'd look at it the same way I do similar situations... It's up to Jurich and Petrino. If they think the kid can be reformed and is worth the trouble and risk, who am I to judge?

The problem is with the schools like LPT and the rest of the SEC where these kids first get into trouble. In the end, it's U of L cleaning up their messes. WTH is LPT's accountability in this situation?

LPT Football: We didn't do nothing...

I hear you all. He will have to go to some sort of tribunal at LPT that is made up of part students and part faculty. The girl he supposedly raped ( an ex girlfriend) is still in school there. I know what his mother has said in the papers, but believe me, she does not want him to go back there. There as been no contact with the CARDS she says. But I could see it happening.

All I have to say is that I wish him all the luck in the world regardless of where he ends up.

GO CARDS - BEAT EVERYBODY!!! God Bless America!!!

In this case, I don't think the reward is worth the risk. Tubman may eventually be a good player, but when we've taken these risks before, it was to get someone who is a proven talent, like Michael Dyer, Josh Harvey-Clemons, and Devonte Fields.

Like usual, the cayut fan doesn't know the whole story. Tubman tried to commit to Coach Strong twice and was turned down. Therefore, you got your moral victory of scoring a recruit over UofL.

Wiggins, Clemons and Williams have nothing to do with this question, as they transferred from real football schools.
