The defense this team plays will define them. It will determine the success or failures from this point forward. They let it be known they CAN play at a very high level defensively. If they bring the defensive intensity they brought against Pitt, there isn't a team in college basketball they can't beat. They got size and a couple of really good young players. Hoping we bring the same D that we brought vs PITT.
I think this is a game where we are going to need to shoot a little better to get.
Going to be a good one!
I have seen them play on TV a couple times. I would agree with "Hops assessment. A dangerous team.I haven't watch FSU this year but there was talk preseason about them being a sleeper team.
Like Cue said though, if the defense stays at the level it was at the Pitt game then we can beat anybody.

The 2 seven footers are 7'3" and 7'4" and there is also an other 7'1" center who has not played yet this year due to some injury.Good size is an understatement. IAW the roster in the Sporting News pre-season mag, they have 2 7 footers - 1 a FR and 1 a Sr; 9 guards that are in the 6-3 to 6-8 range, and 3 forwards 6-6, 6-8, and 6-9. 5 of these guys are sr's. and 4 are fr, 3 are Jr, and 3 are so.
This is going to be a white knuckler wrestling match game; the Cards press and quickness pared with their own height will make this interesting from the jump. Turnovers and shooting % will likely be the keys to this game.
Hop has got it right. Enjoy the game tonight and revisit when we see the winner and how the game goes. Cheers!
Cold, with 3 inches of snow here, and Stoking up the ole fireplace tonight, hunkering down with some beverages of choice, and ready for some UofL BB. Go Cards!
