The defense this team plays will define them. It will determine the success or failures from this point forward. They let it be known they CAN play at a very high level defensively. If they bring the defensive intensity they brought against Pitt, there isn't a team in college basketball they can't beat.

I haven't watch FSU this year but there was talk preseason about them being a sleeper team.

Like Cue said though, if the defense stays at the level it was at the Pitt game then we can beat anybody.

I have seen them play on TV a couple times. I would agree with "Hops assessment. A dangerous team.

The Cards will need that same defensive effort they showed against Pitt more than ever as they get deeper into ACC Conference play. There are no gimme wins in this league as has been made abundantly clear so far. Cards have to bring it every night.

FSU is capable of competing at a very high level.The Cards should expect they'll come in to try and upset them.Defense,loose balls and finding one another at the other end.I'd like to see the Cards get out and go a bit more on misses.It starts with the outlet.

This team is very similar to UK. Both ranked in Kenpom 30s range and both have quality young guards who can score. Both have beat some good teams at home, but struggle on the road.

Good size is an understatement. IAW the roster in the Sporting News pre-season mag, they have 2 7 footers - 1 a FR and 1 a Sr; 9 guards that are in the 6-3 to 6-8 range, and 3 forwards 6-6, 6-8, and 6-9. 5 of these guys are sr's. and 4 are fr, 3 are Jr, and 3 are so.

This is going to be a white knuckler wrestling match game; the Cards press and quickness pared with their own height will make this interesting from the jump. Turnovers and shooting % will likely be the keys to this game.

The 2 seven footers are 7'3" and 7'4" and there is also an other 7'1" center who has not played yet this year due to some injury.

We got two 7 footers plus Spaulding's wingspan makes him about 7-6"
