let's hear it fellows

I honestly don't know what to expect. Earlier in the season I was feeling great about the UofL defense. The last few games have squashed those feelings. I haven't watched UofK play so I don't know how good or how bad they are. I know they're 2-6 in the SEC and 5th in a really bad SEC east this year.

A coin flip and my UofL homer outlook forces me to pick the Cardinals. IDC if it's 1 or 100 points. As long as it's a win for the Cardinals, I'll be satisfied.

I'm concerned that at some point UK will figure out that Boom Williams should carry the ball a lot. However I'm going to assume that their coaching staff is still Stoop-id and won't figure this out yet. Cards 27 - Cats 24

It's kind of hard to predict the score because I doubt we'll have our starters in more than a couple of quarters. I would love to put a smack-down embarrassing score on UK too, but I think the coaching staff will be doing the right thing to protect against injury before the bowl game.

I thought Boom Williams suffered an injury that ended his season a couple of weeks ago.

The prediction of rain scares the hell out of me. But I'll go:

Cards - 34
Kittens - 24

Going to be a steady rain all day which leads to who makes the most turnovers and who's running game can be sustained.

Cats 24 Cards 21

Rain is so overstated these days what with field turf. Teams still throw it all over the yard in the rain. Yours is an antiquated notion Bluescat. Of course, no one ever accuses Cayut fans of knowing a whole lot about footsball.

Tell that to the high powered offenses of #7 Baylor and #19 TCU, who just went into OT after a 14-14 tie on a rainy night.

I'm with bluescat92, in that the rain will have a significant impact on the passing offenses. I look for a conservative game plan with a premium on ball control and ball security that will result in a low scoring game. I will go with UofL 24, UK 20.

In my opinion rain always favors the less talented and the underdog. That's obviously UK. However I've watched UK numerous times this year and they aren't good.

I'll say....

UL - 28
UK - 20

TCU lost their starting QB weeks ago, Baylor was down to their third stringer.

100% chance of rain from noon til eight pm. I don't know how hard it will rain but hopefully enough to rain on the Cards parade. Lol

I just hope it's another great and safe game that will show the country we have one of the best rivalries going.

Play well my rivals but not well enough.

It could well be the Baylor/TCU game last night is a prelude to today. It makes for boring football and it also levels the playing field, somewhat.

Rain ZOMG!!!!! For the last time the rain we are getting is nothing like what you saw in Texas last night
