What other school can say that they have hosted the #1, #2 , and #3 team in the nation in the same year. It is SENIOR Day and a lot is on the line.
When UofL takes on Virginia......the #2 team in the nation on Saturday it will give UofL a chance to get a better seed in the big dance but also gives UofL a double bye in the ACC tournament with a win.

It is absolutely huge. Win this game and you go into the ACC tourney on a high note. Lose it, and you go into the ACC tourney on a 2 game losing streak and out of the top 25.

Win this one, win a couple in the ACC tourney or win the tourney and we're right back in the thick of playing for a top 3 seed in the NCAA tourney.

Lose tomorrow, lose in the ACC tourney and drop to a 6, 7 or even 8 seed. Yuck.

It will indeed be a monumental task for the Cards but I'm all for them surprising the hell out of everyone with a blowout win against Virginia. It would do wonders for team morale and momentum going into the post season.
