Back in the fall. We were hoping for a 4-8 team, even a 3-9 team that just fought hard.
We were the WORST Power 5 team in the nation at the end of last year.
We had 0 legit recruits that even wanted to play with us and the class was almost a disaster.
We were all in on thinking Brohm would save us, he said no.
Guess what? Scott Satterfield led us from the ashes to #2 in the division of the team that is defending National champions. We won 7 games when we thought 5-6 would be a miracle. Jeff Brohm didn’t even make a bowl this year.
We didn’t win the one today, but we are going BOWLING! We bring back almost all our major contributors. We are getting big time recruits to pay attention.
10 years ago to the day we were wondering if we could ever recover from hurricane Kragthorpe. 10 years later we are in the ACC and have a Heisman trophy winner.
