Lauren Hartlage Advances in North & South Amateur Tournament

University of Louisville women's golf student-athlete Lauren Hartlage is still playing great golf.

She advanced to today's round of 16 in the North & South Women's Amateur Tournament at Pinehurst yesterday, winning in the Round of 32 match play to advance to the Sweet Sixteen with a 3-1 win over the third seeded participant. Hartlage was the #30 seed and posted the biggest upset of yesterday's match play.

Today she is in an ACC matchup, taking on #14 seed Emila Migliaccio (Wake Forest).

To me golf is a hard game, after I drive it off the tee I can’t do anything with it. I salute anyone who can play the game apparently at the level Lauren is playing right now. I wish her continued success. Go Cards!!!

Sadly, she was eliminated in the round of 16 yesterday by Emilia.
