Late Hit during the play

I’ve never heard that called before and would assume I never will again

Was exactly what I was thinking! Unnecessary roughness is what it actually was.... calling it a late hit during the play was confusing as hell.

More than likely was a hit on someone who wasn’t involved in the play. You can’t blow someone up fifteen yards behind ball once play passes them by.
