For anyone who watch this past season of "Last Chance U" on Netflix, we got to see the results of the 2018 season of the Independence Pirates. At the end of the season they lost their infamous head coach Jason Brown. After the season the defensive coordinator Kiyoshi Harris who was promoted to head coach.
I was interested to see how things went with the new head coach, no Jason Brown, and more camera crews onsite, as the next season of LCU will be elsewhere.
Remarkably, the team had a really good season. They finished 8-2 on the year, finishing in 1st place of the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference with a 6-1 record.
They finished 8th in the rankings.
