Kudos to Auburn fans

Got back from the game this afternoon and just finished watching the game replay. Disappointed with the loss, but very encouraged with the fight the team showed after falling behind 24 - 0. The true freshmen played beyond their years. I was surprised Auburn was able to run up the middle on us as well as they did. Our fans represented well; great crowd at Card March.

I must commend the Auburn fans. They were as kind, courteous and knowledgeable as the Clemson fans I met last year. As we were leaving the arena, I can't tell you how many of the Tiger faithful came up to us to congratulate us on a game well-played. It was a long, hot trip back to the vehicle; one Tiger group of fans stopped us and offered us beer. Well, not to be inhospitable, we took them up on the offer! Drank a quick one with them, thanked them and wished them good luck and hope they get a title shot. They told me they think we will do very well in the ACC this year. All in all, good trip, anxious to watch the Houston game this coming weekend to see how we improve from week one to two.

I went to the game and was very surprised how many UL fans showed up. I estimated 60-40 Auburn in the stadium, Maybe even 65-35 but UL were CRAZY LOUD. Very impressed with y'alls team. IMO the game was won and lost in the trenches just like most games. Good luck in the ACC. I think you guys have a great chance of winning it.

I'm not surprised, always thought Auburn fans represented their team with class.

I for one hope they win the SEC.

Yeah, great behavior on the part of Auburn fans. When 40-45,000 of your fans show up, that's a pretty nice endorsement!!...

All of the Auburn fans that visited the board this week seemed to be good fans and most with a good sense of humor.

Great sportsmanship on the field as well. I recall a few times watching Auburn players helping up Card players and Card players helping up Auburn players. No real chippiness noticed. Very refreshing to see this. LPT players could learn a lot from these two teams.

It's nice to read these types of reports regarding opposing fan bases. That speaks well of the fan base in general. Glad to hear it!

I noticed that as well. For as physical a game as Auburn played I thought their players acted very professional. Nice to see.
