Stating they are 100/1 on the books to make the playoffs next season . When in fact the actial odds are 10,000/1. Their dumb ass fan base sure cant read . Some of the posters are writing they should set their sites on championship game now since they have arrived LOL! However their is one poster calling KSr out about it sure his post will be taken down. And when they realize this site poster has laughed at it sure it will redacted.

Sorry to break the news, but +10000 is synonymous with 100/1. You’d get $10000 back on a $100 bet.

Question so all bets are assumed a person is putting down $100.00 right? I just do parlays and like 2-5 dollars not a gambler so i'm not familar with this serious numbers.

Quick lesson by example:

+400= 4/1

+1000=10/1

+10,000=100/1

When a bet is odds-on, they arey are listed in terms of how much money you lay to win $100:

-110 is risking 110 to win 100

-280 is risking 280 to win 100 and so on....

You realize that a $100 bet so you bet $100 to win $10,000 so yeah it’s 100/1...

Well, I think the odds on the Slapdicks winning the CFB NC are more likely 10,000-1, no matter what those odds say.

Exactly. Vegas is just giving blanket odds on a proposition it knows is impossible. They’ll collect on fans and suckers and if lightening happens to strike the bullseye of a dartboard their exposure would be minimal. Of course, Kentucky winning the NC in football next year is about as likely as TuTu Atwell winning the presidential election.

I'd vote for him!

I think the real story is that somebody wrote an article to brag about being considered such a remote possibility. If I were the type to posts pictures in messages, I would put a picture of Jim Carrey in Dumb and Dumber with the quote, "so, you're saying there's a chance?"
