It's a free board, and I'm not a mod. I get into it with Zipp all the time. The mods let us have at it.

In all honesty, Zipp is quite knowledgeable on some subjects, such as the YUM center, and he was vehemently against it. If you try to talk pro YUM center to him, he'll destroy you with facts and figures. Most UK fans would like that about him. LOL

However, Zipp thinks he's as knowledgeable on ALL subjects, which he is not. He and I have been really getting into it lately over football recruiting. The more he talks, the more proves what he doesn't know. When you get him on something he resorts to name calling and insults. That's when I dig in deeper and lay the facts down. He winds up calling me a UK fan or troll and I know I've put him in his place.

To reiterate what I said earlier though, he's a jackass online, but I don't think he'd ever resort to violence in person. He's a jackass because he (and others like him) can hide behind the anonymity of a keyboard and not have to worry about the things they say because they hide their identity. I've never felt the need to do that. I don't say anything online that I wouldn't say to a persons face, and I've never hid my identity.

Kratz, I don't normally give a damn when slapd!cks obsess on me. Most are primitive mouth-breathers, and you just can't fix stupid.

But they don't need your help, if that's what you think you're doing. For one thing, you don't know me a damn bit better than they do, and they know nothing except what they can google (and they usually get that ish wrong). Trust me, you ain't got your ish right either. And it's not my job to set things straight for anyone.

My recommendation is for your and your slappy buds to get over 'zipp'. I'm not worth your fixation, and I'd rather you debate me on point when you can. Also if you don't wanna be identified with slappies, don't wallow in the mud with them. You lie down with dogs, you get up with fleas.

Finally, if it's important enough for you to know who I am behind a virtual entity, we can arrange that. Some of the folks here who know me personally (mostly on the premium forum) will tell you I'm not much different from my internet persona, maybe 20%. I'm probably a little nicer and less confrontational, but not much. This isn't some basement dweller with a runny nose playing games on his computer all day. You didn't bother to mention the parts where I defended you in some areas. The selectivness of your post is amusing.

And I'll continue to battle with you when I think you''re wrong (recruiting) and not say a word when I know that you know more than I do (the arena). See, I'm smart like that. You could learn a thing or two about it. The things you know, you know well. That doesn't mean that you know everything about everything. I made a post this weekend about a 4 star OL committed to Florida that we have in town for a visit this weekend trying to flip him. Did you know anything about it before I made the post?

Ill continue to post and interact over there. Lots of good people that like to talk football, and I'll avoid the assholes like Grover. UKerik is one of the most football knowledgeable people I've ever seen on the net. He gives better analysis than half the so called experts that get paid to post on websites.

Lastly, don't think I obsess over you. Someone asked me a question about you and I answered. I give you props where it's due, and point out your wrong where I think it's due. Simple as that.

I'm not the one deleting your posts. My preference is that everyone--even slapd!cks--be able to reply to my posts assuming it can be kept to some level of intelligence (which automatically disqualifies most slappies). When it's the vintage LPT mouth-breather stuff, that's the mods doing their job.

I think the regulars here will tell you that the mods let most posters go at me pretty hard because I invite it. As hop alludes to above, it may add to some people's entertainment value (although they'll have to comment). It's also crazy ironic that slapd!cks would whine about being reined in here when you read the 'zipp' garbage that's tolerated on the Rivals slappy site everyday. Why don't you check if my posting privileges can be reinstated there since that door swings both ways?

Speaking of which, personal insults... The rules don't provide this form of relief as Steelers has reminded me, but my move is to attack BACK. It's funny reading allegations of my personal insults, only to trace back the communications to a point where a guy like you has attacked first, then go whining when it boomerangs around. I'm riding that boomerang even though I shouldn't--one of my various weaknesses. But don't start down that path and then tell me I'm not playing fair. Steelers will eventually tell us both.

My point with the OP is essentially that you don't know me well enough to educate anyone about me. You just THINK you do. (You don't even have my name right...) I don't want you defending me anymore than I want you criticizing me. And the last people whom you should be concerned about educating are slapd!cks. Many are beyond education. I don't understand the penchant that some of my fellow U of L posters have to go live among them. Maybe you come from mixed marriages or used to be a slappy yourself. Again, I don't care. It's just a little weird you going there to talk to that clanbase about someone you don't really even know, and then coming back here to converse with the same guy on U of L subjects. I also may have missed it, but I didn't see where anyone called you out by name to discuss 'zipp'. Looked to me like for some reason, you invited yourself.

I know you don't delete them, the mods do. I asked a mod once to clarify the board rules on name calling and such because it seemed blurred. I don't behave like a middle schooler on the internet or in real life so I have never used name calling. But this was at a time when the board was particularly ugly and posters were just winging it. His response was all name calling on the board is prohibited except for LPT and Slapd!ck. I had a good laugh at that. So yeah, Zipp had a good deal of favor and protection from the mods in my opinion.

Zipp my man I do believe you may have completely detached yourself from rationalism. You speak like UK fans are lepars or terrorists.
