I watched the post game presser with HVL and Emily and the whole time HVL was clearing her throat. I was thinking wouldn’t it be our luck if HVL or other key players on our team come down with Covid right before the tournament starts?

This is the type of luck we have so hopefully it won’t happen. Remember when Pitino was coach we always had 3 players every year who were missing games because of injuries. We always questioned what was going on. Were the injuries caused by the routines of our conditioning coach, was it the new court at the YUM or were they put through too much rigor during practice.
The one thing I do know is we no longer have those same injury problems. HVL’s post game presser made me think about all the bad luck we have had with our teams. I am hoping we don’t have these problems with the women’s team because right now the women’s sports are our only bright light.
