I know it is crying over spilled milk now, but there were many lost opportunities to win that game.

One thing I noticed was on Mango's second FT that he missed. If you watch, when the ball goes in the air, everyone was such a spectator to the ball. Only Snider was on the line for Louisville and he made no attempt to rebound. But what kills me is Wayne Blackshear is standing at the top of the 3 point line and would have had a clear lane to run down the middle and rebound the ball. We have seen Jordan and Kobe do this before and dunk the miss FT. I don't think Wayne would have been able to dunk it, but he would have been able to get the rebound and put it back in or gotten fouled. Once again it is all over and I accept the loss.

If you still have the game on DVR, watch that play.

Michael Jordan Dunks Missed FT's

I am with you on that. I know the coaches were afraid of a rebound foul. But with Mange odds are he was going to miss and if the ball bounces out hard we have a great shot at a rebound and a putback.

I deleted my recording as son as the game was over. Regret doing so. Would have liked to watch Wayne's last game again.

Team hit one of those extended stretches 80,86 always pointed out. We were something like 6-36 from the floor and half those shots were back court easy steals by Rozier with no defense between he and the rim.

The guys tightened up a little when MSU hit their stride, and Harrell appeared completeley out of energy. Rozier, sensing the need to pick up Harrell, took too many isolations and failed to notice Blackshear was on fire.

There was no shame losing the game though. The guys tried really, really hard. I salute their effort. It wasn't the most fun to watch season, but at the end of the road, they all left it out there on the court and as a fan I appreciate the effort.
