After last year's catastrophic collapse, and the ensuing regime change, many of us have wondered 'when will we ever return to a bowl again?' Before the first game, I think most of us felt this year was out of the question, but we hoped that 6 wins could be reached in 2020.

After Monday, many, including me, are now at least hopeful that we can compete for 6 wins this year! Here's a breakdown of how I see those chances after week 1. I will update this each week.

Current Record - 0-1

Likely win - EKU, WKU (Nashville)

Have a Shot - @FSU, BC, @wake, @NC State, Syracuse, @UK

Longer Shot - @Miami, Virginia

No Shot - Clemson

Analysis - All of the "have a shot" games look challenging, but winnable if we play well and get a break or two. If we can win the next two, gain some confidence, and go down to FSU and steal a "W," then I think the BC game at CArdinal Stadium gets very interesting. Win that one and we'd only have to get one more of the next 6 to go into our finale at Cardinal Stadium East (where we've won 4 in a row and 8 of 10) for a chance to reach a bowl.

As of now, that's my goal....get to CS East with 5 wins under our belt and beat the Kitties.

Current Projection - 6-6
Projected Bowl - Quick Lane Bowl vs Indiana
