John Ramsey already scared the beegeebies out of our old friend Matt Jones. Now I wish Mr. Ramsey would knock LachLame McLean and Sweeny's heads together 3 Stooges style (complete with sound effects).

Their mocking of the UofL fanbase is sickening. I just happened to be listening to them today and I will never listen again. I'll boycott any of their sponsors as well. The way they came across as all knowing and we are just a bunch of rubes.. made me want to punch the radio. Oh, and according to them, our football team isn't any good.

The guy couldn't hack it in North Carolina, so now he comes crawling back here and gets another radio show? The guy is talentless and so is his mic hogging co host.

I have to admit I listened in to them yesterday on 93.9 and I was not happy with what I heard.

They were calling Louisville fans stupid for analyzing different ways that UofL could get into the playoffs, mocking fans who say "we need Worshington to lose" (not kidding, they said it that way). Louisville schedule is crap, Jackson isn't Heisman worthy, Louisville isn't that good. Oh, and they announced they were not taking a lot of phone calls....well gee, I wonder why? Just don't understand the anger. I always liked 680 but not anymore.

I Always try to be an open minded guy to extremes but it's kinda nice when you grow to a place as I have to not only eliminate the mosquitos like CardLame, Lachlan McClain and Andywhatshisname from your daily routine but to more importantly see how awesome UofL Athletics have become.

Try to look at this way. I've never liked Lachlan, but the local ESPN radio programming is heavily pro UofL. Deener can dish it out on occasion, but he's firmly a part of the Louisville family. Maybin is as enthusiastic about Louisville as a radio guy can get. Valvano, no question. R&R are UofL pyschos. My point is what Lach is doing is likely intentional. He's the ying to the aforementioned yang. Good cop/bad cop. I can see the program director telling Lach, "Hey, you are already an asshat. Play the part on air."

I believe this is the first time I have ever seen someone brag about the fact they refuse to entertain the ideas of people who, as it turns out, happen to be correct. What Lachlan and Andy have been saying about UL's chances in the playoffs is essentially the same thing TopDeck and I were saying two weeks ago. It appears to have been the same analysis applied by the committee. It is not magic. If you watched the playoffs develop the last two years, it was kind of obvious where it was headed. Sticking one's head in the sand won't change that.

I enjoy listening to Lachlan. He is unbiased and provides a good offset to homer-ism. On the other hand, I am not a fan of Sweeney. I think he is the king of creating straw-man arguments and acts like the entire fanbase is standing against his "informed" opinion.
